Shipping & Returns

 RETURNS:

1. CAN I RETURN MY ORDER? 

You may return any unworn items (other than custom-made items) within 7 (seven) business days provided it is returned in its (their) original and complete packaging. Once we receive the items in good order, we will give you store credit to you the amount you paid for the item(s), excluding any outbound shipping costs. 

 

2. WHAT KIND OF ITEMS CANNOT BE RETURNED?

Unfortunately, custom-made items may not be returned unless they were received by you in a faulty condition. In this case, we need to be notified within 24 (twenty-four) hours that you wish to return them. Once we receive the items, we will store credit to you the amount you paid for the item(s).  

 

3. WILL YOU NOTIFY ME ONCE MY ORDER HAS BEEN RETURNED AND REFUNDED?

We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item(s).

 

4. CAN I EXCHANGE AN ITEM FOR ANOTHER?

Unfortunately, we cannot accept requests for exchanges due to the limited nature of our stock inventory. Should you wish to return an item and purchase another in its stead, you will have to first complete the returns process for the item you wish to exchange and then place a new order for the new item. (We will allow you to exchange items for a different size if we have stock available)

 

5. HOW DO I GO ABOUT RETURNING AN ITEM?

5.1 All returnable items must be returned within 7 (seven) business days from the date on which you received your order. 

5.2 In the event that you chose as your shipping method “SA Post Office,” the date on which the post office notifies you that your parcel is ready for collection will be deemed the date on which you receive your order. In the event that you chose "Berco Door-to-Door" as your shipping method, the date on which you or someone on your behalf signed for the items will be deemed the date on which you receive your order. 

5.3 Should you wish to return an item(s), simply submit a return request:

Notify us in writing within 48 (fourty-eight) hours of receiving your order that you wish to return an item(s) included in such order, by logging into your account, clicking on ‘return requests’ and following the automated prompts or sending an email to customercare@lovebaby.co.za, quoting your order number, the name of the item(s) you wish to return and your reason for wanting to return same.

Note: for any items that are received in faulty condition, you must notify us within 24 (twenty-four) hours.

5.4 Once we have received your return request, we will consider same and notify you via email within 48 (fourty-eight) hours whether or not such request has been authorized.

5.5 Once your request is authorized, take the item(s) to your nearest South African Post Office, within 7 (seven) business days from the date on which you received such item(s), in its original and complete packaging (including any boxes, protective packaging and/or documentation) and in the condition it was in when delivered to you, and post it to the following address: Returns at Love Baby, 16 Oaks Court, 23 Union Street, Gardens, Cape Town, 8001, South Africa. 

5.6 You will be liable for the cost of returning the item(s) to us and it is recommended that you pay the applicable insurance surcharge, as ownership and risk will vest in you until such time as the goods are received by us in satisfactory order.

5.7 Once we have received your returned item(s), we shall load  you the amount you paid for the item(s) as store credit excluding the initial outbound shipping cost, unless you reasonably allege and we are satisfied that you received the item in a faulty condition, in which case your refund shall include the initial outbound shipping costs.  

 

All returns are subject to our Terms and Conditions, found at the bottom left of the navigation tab on our home page. By making any purchase on our website, you acknowledge to have read, understood and consider yourself bound by our Terms and Conditions. 

 

SHIPPING:

1. HOW MUCH WILL IT COST TO DELIVER MY PURCHASE AND HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE? 

Each time you shop with us, you will be provided with three shipping options during "Step 3" of the secure checkout process:

Free Shipping will be the Dawn economy service.

SA Post Office: this shipping method entails the safe and reliable delivery of the goods you purchase to your nearest post office within 5-7 days from the date of order (except for orders containing custom-made items, which will be delivered 5-7 days from the date on which your custom-made items are ready to ship, as will be indicated on the relevant product page). A fixed shipping charge of R30.00 applies to deliveries anywhere in South Africa (including regional and remote areas). You will be responsbible for collecting your order from your nearest post office upon receiving the relevant notice from your post office.  

Dawn Door-to-Door Economy: this shipping method entails the safe, convenient and speedy delivery of the goods you purchase to your front door, within 3-4 business days from the time of order  (except for orders containing custom-made items, which will be delivered 3-4 days from the date on which your custom-made items are ready to ship, as will be indicated on the relevant product page). The price of this shipping method ranges depending on your shipping address, starting from approximately R40.00. The exact shipping charge will be calculated for you during secure checkout, once you have entered your shipping address and before you make payment. 

Dawn Door-to-Door Express: this shipping method entails the safe, convenient and super speedy delivery of the goods you purchase to your front door, within 1-2 business days from the time of order  (except for orders containing custom-made items, which will be delivered 1-2 days from the date on which your custom-made items are ready to ship, as will be indicated on the relevant product page). The price of this shipping method ranges depending on your shipping address, starting from approximately R60.00. The exact shipping charge will be calculated for you during secure checkout, once you have entered your shipping address and before you make payment. 

 

2. WHEN CAN I EXPECT DELIVERY OF MY PURCHASE? 

SA Post Office: you will be able to collect your order from your nearest post office, once you have received notification of its arrival, during business hours.

Dawn Door-to-Door Economy / Express: your order will be delivered to your front door between 08h30 and 17h00, Monday to Friday.

 

3. HOW DO I TRACK MY ORDER? 

SA Post Office: all parcels are tracked by the South African Post Office. Should you wish to track your order at any stage, please contact us at customercare@lovebaby.co.za, quoting your order number, and we shall assist you in tracking your order.

Dawn Door-to-Door Economy / Express: our courier partner, Dawn Wing, will track your parcel every step of the way. You can log onto their website, www.dawnwing.co.za, and input your waybill number (which will be the letters "LOV" followed by your Love Baby order number (e.g. "LOV1001") into the track and trace field for instant tracking. Alternatively, please contact us at customercare@lovebaby.co.za and we will track it for you.
